The SDK Signs; The Network Adds Trust

The open-source SDK implements the protocol: it signs data into a self-contained envelope or embeds the proof inside the file, and it verifies both. The MSD Network adds optional identity, endorsement, and key-status services that turn a locally-valid signature into a trusted one.

Use It

• Install from the public repository and sign a dictionary or a file (PDF, image, or Office document).

• Verify offline: a check returns whether the signature is valid, and separately whether it is trusted.

• Follow the roadmap and contribution guide in the repository.

Early Alpha, Stated Plainly

This is the most maturity-honest page on the site. The SDK is early alpha. Some capabilities are not yet supported, and anyone considering a dependency should read the roadmap first. The open SDK is not at parity with Staple's commercial platform.

Open Versus Commercial

The open SDK gives you signing and verification. The production, audited capability inside the Staple product is Audit Readiness, backed by the Trust Layer and the certifications in the Trust Vault.
