Reseller Program

Package and resell Staple with margin, owning the commercial relationship while Staple powers the product underneath. The Reseller Program is for partners who want to sell Staple as part of their offering, hold the contract with the end customer, and build a repeatable revenue line rather than a one-off referral. It is one of two routes under Sell Staple, alongside the lighter Referral Partners path; the difference is ownership. A referrer introduces an opportunity and earns a fee; a reseller owns the account, sets the price within guidelines, and keeps the margin.

Who It Suits

Reselling fits partners that already sell software or services into enterprise finance, procurement, and operations teams, ERP resellers, finance-technology vendors, regional software distributors, and consultancies with a product arm. If you have a sales motion and a customer base that trusts you, adding Staple lets you meet a need those customers already feel, document processing and e-invoicing compliance, without diverting your roadmap or building the capability yourself. You sell an enterprise-grade product under your own commercial relationship, and Staple runs it.

What You Get

• Margin on resold Staple subscriptions, so document processing becomes a revenue line rather than a pass-through.

• The ability to bundle Staple with your existing solutions and services, creating an offer competitors cannot easily match.

• Commercial and pricing support, with clear, transparent structures so you can quote with confidence.

• Access to the full platform across 60 countries and 300+ languages, the same product a direct customer would buy.

Enablement And Certification

Sales and technical training, solution playbooks, and technical certification get your team selling and demonstrating quickly, so your ramp to the first closed deal is measured in weeks, not quarters. Architecture guidance and a direct line to Staple's team support you during implementation, and as your practice matures you can bring implementation in-house or partner for delivery. The playbooks matter: they turn a complex, compliance-heavy product into a repeatable pitch your account executives can run without a specialist in every meeting.

Why Staple Is Easy To Resell

Three things make Staple sell. First, it adds an enterprise capability, document ingestion, extraction, reconciliation, and validation, that customers already know they need, so you are meeting demand rather than creating it. Second, it differentiates on trust: data is verifiable and tamper-evident by design, backed by a signed audit trail and accredited e-invoicing, which is a real edge in regulated and finance-heavy environments where a generic OCR tool cannot compete. Third, it wins bigger, stickier deals: trusted data at the front end cuts implementation risk and rework, and once a customer's documents flow through Staple it is far harder to rip out than a point tool. The regulatory backdrop helps too, with e-invoicing mandates rolling out across markets and driving steady demand.

Deal Governance

Deal registration, territory and account governance, and defined escalation paths keep the commercial relationship clean as you scale a Staple practice, so resellers are not set against each other or against Staple's direct team on the same account. That clarity protects the margin you are building and makes the program safe to invest in, because the account you register and win stays yours.

Backed By A Real Track Record

You are reselling a product with a production record, not a promise. Staple runs for Fortune 100 companies and global institutions at a 100 percent deployment success rate, is an accredited PEPPOL Access Point, and is recognized with the SAP Concur Award 2026, SAP Innovation Partner 2023, and SAP Distinguished Partner 2022. That record shortens your sales cycle, because your customer can see the platform is already trusted at scale in their industry.

Bundling Turns A Product Into An Offer

The strongest reseller economics come from bundling rather than reselling in isolation. Wrapped into your existing software, services, or managed offering, Staple becomes part of a solution the customer buys as one thing, which lifts your average deal size and makes the whole package harder to displace. An ERP reseller can attach document capture and e-invoicing to every implementation it sells; a finance-software vendor can present verified data as a native feature of its own product line. In each case the customer sees one offer from a partner they already trust, and the reseller owns the expansion, more document types, more entities, more countries, that naturally follows as the account grows.

Scope

You hold the contract, set pricing within guidelines, and manage the account. Staple provides the product across 60 countries, ongoing updates, tax-authority and e-invoice coverage, and enablement. Staple does not take over your customer relationship. To introduce opportunities without holding the contract, see Referral Partners; to also deliver the deployments you sell, see Deliver Staple.
