Industries
The document does not change much across industries, but its context does. An invoice in logistics comes with delivery orders and stamps, a document in banking comes with identity and compliance obligations, a claim in insurance comes with medical records and redaction requirements. Staple processes the documents that run each industry, tuned to the context each one demands, rather than offering a generic reader that treats them all the same.
The Common Thread: One Platform, Many Contexts
Every industry runs on the same first-mile platform: ingest, extract and enrich, reconcile, and deliver, with the Trust Layer recording provenance throughout. What stays constant is the engine, context-based extraction across more than 300 languages, per-field confidence, cross-document reconciliation, and a signed audit trail. What differs is the document mix, the compliance regime, and the systems the data has to reach. That combination, a single platform underneath and a context-specific configuration on top, is why a bank and a food distributor can run the same product without either compromising on what their sector requires.
Banking And Financial Services
Bank statements, credit reports, KYC packs, and lending documents, verified and structured for onboarding and credit decisions, with the explainable audit trail regulators expect. See Banking and Financial Services.
Insurance
Claims packs, medical bills, and supporting documents, read in any language, matched across the documents in a claim, and redacted by default so sensitive fields never travel further than they should. See Insurance.
Healthcare
Medical claims, patient forms, and insurance documents, processed with PII and PHI redaction under HIPAA-aligned controls and regional data residency. See Healthcare.
Logistics, Supply Chain, And Food And Beverage
Invoices, delivery orders, and packing documents with stamps, handwriting, and unstructured tables, matched three ways against purchase orders and goods receipts, so a discrepancy is caught before payment rather than after. See Logistics, Supply Chain and F&B.
Consumer Goods And Retail
Supplier invoices and delivery notes at store scale, across multiple languages in a single deployment, including formats a legacy OCR tool cannot read. See Consumer Goods and Retail.
Manufacturing And Distribution
Manufacturers and distributors process high volumes of supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts, often across languages and often bound for an ERP such as SAP. Staple captures the line items, matches them three ways, resolves suppliers against master data so a posting does not fail, and delivers straight into the system of record. See how the matching works in Cross-Source Reconciliation and how the data posts in Finance and Accounting.
Why Context Beats A Generic Reader
Two invoices can look identical and demand completely different handling. One from a supplier in a food distribution chain needs its line items matched against a delivery order and a goods receipt; one attached to a loan application needs its figures verified, its sensitive fields controlled, and its provenance recorded for an examiner. A generic reader returns the same fields for both and leaves the context to the customer. Staple applies the checks, the redaction policy, the reconciliation rules, and the destination mapping each context requires, so what a team receives is not just extracted text but data already shaped for the decision it feeds. That is the difference between reading a document and running an industry process on it.
Trust Travels Across Every Sector
Whatever the industry, the data can leave Staple carrying a signed Metastructured Data record of where each value came from, how confident the read was, and where it is allowed to reside. A bank, an insurer, a hospital, and a manufacturer all inherit the same guarantee: the value a downstream system acts on can be verified as unaltered, and its residency follows it across every boundary. The trust layer is not sector-specific; the obligations it satisfies are.
What Staple Does Not Do
Staple handles the first mile of document processing for each industry: capturing, verifying, and delivering the data. It does not replace the industry system of record, the core banking platform, the policy administration system, or the electronic health record. It feeds them clean, verified data.
Proven In Production
A global FMCG brand with 5,600 stores received supplier invoices and delivery notes in Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese and had been using an OCR tool that failed on dot-matrix documents; Staple reached 99.6 percent accuracy across four APAC languages in a single deployment. A global logistics operation processes more than 750,000 documents a year across 11 countries and five languages, and a global investment bank reconciles values and line items in real time across five countries. Across every sector, Staple runs for Fortune 100 companies and global institutions in 60 countries at a 100% deployment success rate.
